The Aim of the University-Industry Collaboration Unit:

The main aim of the University-Industry Collaboration Unit, Beykent University Technology Transfer Office (Beykent TTO) is to direct the future or existing R&D projects to the private sector effectively and quickly, and to provide a sustainable collaboration between the academicians and the private sector by explaining the needs of the private sector to the academicians.

 

 

Our Activities

Activities of the University-Industry Collaboration Module:

University-Industry Collaboration Unit, Beykent University Technology Transfer Office (Beykent TTO) carries out the following activities:

• Ensuring that the scientific studies of the academicians are put into service and commercialised in line with the needs of the private sector,
• Ensuring that  there is a suitable ground for possible projects and partnerships, and cooperation with the private sector by directing them to academicians, who are experts in the relevant field, in order to meet the needs of the private sector on R&D and Innovation,
• Mediating in supporting the private sector with national and international funding sources,
• Providing consulting services by creating a bridge between the private sector and academicians,
• Ensuring that academicians seize the professional development opportunities in the private sector,
• Mediating in the formation of national and international business partnerships,
• Ensuring that the private sector benefits from resources and opportunities the university offers by interdisciplinary cooperation,
• Ensuring that the university is represented by participating in activities related to the university and the private sector,

Providing technical, administrative, financial and legal support to the parties during the period of the contracts and collaborations between the university and the private sector.
